In 2008 the Danish illustrator Lasse Bo Christensen heard Svend-Erik Engh tell a story he had created together with his daughter Karen. Lasse then asked Svend-Erik if he would publish the story if Lasse made some illustrations. In 2010 the book was published in Danish and in 2014 a Swedish version was released.
In 2019 Alice Fernbank, a native English speaking storyteller and Svend-Erik Engh translated the story.

Angela 92 years old said after we read it to her: “Lovely and mad!”
